The first country that introduced the topic of LGBTQ in schools became known

Scotland’s educational institutions will teach the history and theory of the LGBTI movement (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex), the Guardian reported.

In the school curriculum in several subjects there will be mandatory paragraphs on the rights of LGBTQ people, which the teacher will be required to convey to the students.

This decision was made in the fight against homophobia.

The main initiator of the introduction of new components is the international organization Time for Inclusive Education, which fights for equal rights in education.
